As an organizer of my fair share of corporate events, over the years I’ve seen my share of top keynote speakers address a variety of different audiences, with varying degrees of success.  Whether it’s for a corporate retreat or sales conference I’ve seen the positive effects of what an engaging speaker can do for an event.  When it comes to something as crucial as a keynote address, your speaker can make or break the entire evening (or week, as is sometimes the case for longer corporate functions).  For the time they’re up on that stage, your keynote speaker, while talking from their own personal experiences, is an extension of your company.

The best keynote speakers know the importance of keeping their audience entertained, yet still be able to sneak in a few valuable life lessons that are relevant to everyone in the room.  There’s nothing worse than a scripted speaker-that is, a speaker who is either sneaking peeks off a cue card on the podium and losing their place while doing it, or one who has their ‘speech‘ memorized, word for word.  One of the best, naturally at ease onstage personalities I’ve had the pleasure of watching is a gentleman by the name of Garrison Wynn; truly a motivational speaker.

There are many reasons why Garrison Wynn has made a name for himself as a leading speaker.  Besides a pretty remarkable business background (by age 27 he was the department head of a Fortune 500 company), he also has roots in the entertainment world, having spent time doing standup comedy.  This quickly becomes evident when you see him speak for the first time (actually, the second and third times, too).  Unlike the dry as chalk keynote addresses you may remember from days gone by, a Garrison Wynn keynote address keeps the audience laughing and learning.  When he spoke at our last conference he delivered a standing ovation worthy keynote, completely customized for our required goals, and he did it the way the best motivational speakers like himself do: by leaving their audience energized and educated, and ready to tackle anything the world may throw at them.

The first time I caught Garrison Wynn on his YouTube channel, I knew he was one of the most entertaining speakers I had ever seen.  When he spoke at our corporate conference, he proved himself to be one of the engaging keynote speakers I’ve personally had the honor of watching.  Our management and sales teams left the conference talking about the ‘perfect fit‘ speaker they had just seen: Garrison Wynn.
